Notably, this transformative initiative extends its reach to multi-member families, specifically those with multiple children, who will now benefit from an expanded scope of support encompassing both regular automobiles and livelihood-related vehicles.

As part of this ambitious overhaul, one of the key modifications involves a substantial increase in the monthly allowances allocated to four-person households currently receiving livelihood assistance. The existing stipend of 162,000 won is set to undergo a notable elevation, reaching 183,000 won. This adjustment is underpinned by a commitment to alleviating financial strains on families, and in tandem with this, the government is undertaking the commendable move of extending 100% coverage for minimum educational expenses, demonstrating a holistic approach to enhancing the socio-economic well-being of vulnerable households.

This progressive shift in policy is embedded within the broader framework of a comprehensive plan for basic livelihood support, the third iteration of which is currently open for public review until the 13th of the upcoming month. Additionally, for families with multiple children, a distinct threshold is being introduced, designating vehicles below 2500cc as 'ordinary assets.'
